1Vapor Barrier Installation
A vapor barrier is an important component in building construction. Its purpose is to help prevent water vapor from reaching building walls, ceilings, attics, crawlspaces or roofs, where it can condense and cause building materials to rot or grow mold.
If mold is growing in your home, you need to clean up the mold and fix the moisture problem. Mold can be removed from hard surfaces with household products, soap and water, or a bleach solution of no more than 1 cup of household laundry bleach in 1 gallon of water.
Internal rodent proofing- Sealing attic of all active and potential points of entry with advanced means of rodent resistant 1/4" hardware cloth (Mesh wire) reinforced with expanding spray foam to prevent full-scale contamination and contain the damage resulting from potential rodent penetration.
Using a fogger machine to sanitize the contaminated spaces with potent disinfectants (Bleach & simple green) to kill the remaining bacteria is imperative for the proper decontamination of the affected areas prior to re-insulation.
